So yeah, I installed Linux yesterday. After having to wrestle with cfdisk/fdisk/ntfsresize to keep my old data, I finally managed to install Linux. Knoppix 3.2, the live-cd one yes. And yes, It's older than the macintyre family's heritage cheese, but I had it on the cd already! So, Knoppix 3.2. Now I'm wrestling/figuring out how I make internet work. Well, so far I've had little progress, but Win2K is here so I can post these random nonsense posts. If I had realized how smoothly Linux works I would have switched to it way earlier. 450MHZ and all these virusscanners and firewalls and windows take a lot of resources. (Did I already mention that Linux has way fewer viruses than Windows? At least it did, don't know if that is true anymore. ) So kids, remember to... Boogie.
